On joining the beaver section children make the following promise

“I promise to do my best
To be kind and helpful
And to love God.”

It is helpful if your child can learn this promise ready for their investiture

In accordance with the scout associations religious policy other versions of the promise are available for other religions. please discuss this with your section leader if you wish to use another version.

The Beaver Scout Motto is

“Be Prepared”
