On Joining the section or moving up from beavers cubs make the following promise

“I promise that I will do my best
To do my duty to God and to the Queen
To help other people
And to keep the Cub Scout Law.”

It would be useful if your child could learn this for their investiture

In accordance with the scout associations religious policy other versions of the promise are available for other religions. please discuss this with your section leader if you wish to use another version.

The cub scout law is as follows

“Cub Scouts always do their best
Think of others before themselves
And do a good turn every day.”

The Cub Scout Motto is

“Be Prepared”
