our bonfire night certainly went with a bang this year a great time was had by all and it was our most successful for years

this week the scouts went to Jeskins park for a spot of orienteering with a difference it was dark in fact it was also foggy.

The 4 patrols were given maps of the park and armed with the grid references for 4 locations in the park they set off. At each location was a symbol that they had to draw onto their route card. When they had collected all 4 they had to race to the finish line where a small prize awaited the winning patrol on this occasion cobras

On Sunday the 11th of November 1st windmill hill scout group joined the Royal British Legion and other uniformed organizations for the annual parade to the war memorial for the service of remembrance.The weather was kind to us and we had a very good turn out so in the leaders eyes this was a very successful event
