All scouts are required to make the scout promise as part of their investiture into the scout movement and at 1st windmill hill we recite the promise on a regular basis at the end of scout meetings.

I Promise to do my best

To do my Duty to my God and to the queen

To help other people and to keep the scout law

Please note although this is the christian wording there are versions of the scout promise suitable for all major religions
